On the Application of Machinery to Philosophical Problems

In addition to more traditional philosophical pursuits, I also have a substantial side interest in computing. Broadly, I’m a software developer with interests in scientific modeling, simulation, and the digital humanities. More specifically, I’ve done work on the modeling of evolutionary game theory, of relativistic ray-tracing, and in biochemistry. I’ve got hobbyist interests in open-source programming in general, and in game design.

Almost all of my programming work is open source, free software, and is hosted on my site at GitHub. If you’re interested in any of my projects, see the list below, and feel free to send me an e-mail.

My Projects

I’ve also done my best to give back to the open source community while working on these projects – I’m a contributor to several libraries, including latex-decode, citeproc-ruby, and RSolr::Ext.
